Crafting spaces, building dreams

My journey into architecture
Originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Central Africa, I grew up witnessing my childhood home being built from the ground up. I was captivated by the process: the careful placement of each brick, the mixing of sand and cement, and the steady rhythm of the workers as the structure slowly came to life.
My father played a crucial role in nurturing that curiosity. He encouraged me to explore construction through miniature building models, allowing me to create structures of my own. During summer breaks, I built small shelters from tree branches and leaves, using whatever materials I could find to make them stand. What felt like simple play at the time gradually grew into a lasting passion for building and design. Today, that early fascination continues to shape my approach to architecture, guiding me to design with curiosity, intention, and a deep respect for the process of making.

The art of the design process
I approach each project through sketching first. By drawing freely and exploring ideas visually, I discover underlying themes that later shape the conceptual direction of the work. This iterative process allows for fluidity and unexpected insights, ensuring each architectural design and visual study is deeply rooted in thoughtful exploration rather than preconceived notions.

Growth through inspired design
I want visitors to see that inspiration is everywhere, and that true growth comes through process. As an architecture student, my work reflects a continuous exploration of form, atmosphere, and spatial narrative. Each visual study and architectural project contributes to this journey of learning and refining, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
"Growth is at the center of who I am as a designer. I believe mistakes are not failures, but necessary steps in the process of becoming better."
